    New branding, reduced landing fees and investment in Ground Control Coffee reflect the airport’s commitment to its aviation community and Medway.

    New tariffs and fees published, effective 1 October 2026.

    Rochester Airport has published version 2.0 of its Airport Tariffs and Charges for aircraft owners and operators. Landing fees are set by aircraft category, from £12 for gyrocopters and microlights and £18 for single-engine aircraft, parking and hangarage by wingspan band, and there is a 50% landing-fee discount for visitors who uplift 50 litres of fuel or more.

    Family Fun Day raises £8,400.88 for Air Ambulance Charity KSS.

    Around 4,500 visitors came together at Rochester Airport on 1 August for a day of flying, family entertainment and community support. The event raised £8,400.88 for Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex, presented to the charity by members of the airport team.

    Ab-initio flight training arrangements updated.

    Following a review of historic operating arrangements, Rochester Airport has lifted the previous ab-initio flight training agreement that limited new student pilot training at the airport. The change gives based and prospective flight training organisations greater flexibility and supports the long-term development of aviation activity at Rochester.
