Rochester Airport extends its thanks to Skytrek Flying School following its departure from the airport and the conclusion of its flying operations on Saturday 31 October 2026, following the owner’s retirement from aviation.

Over its many years at Rochester, Skytrek has helped introduce people to flying, supported students through their training and contributed to the airport community. Rochester Airport thanks the Skytrek team for their longstanding contribution.

Ben Spiers, Airport Director, said:

“Skytrek has been part of the flying journey of many people at Rochester Airport. We would like to thank the team for their dedication over the years and recognise the contribution they have made to our aviation community.”

Information for customers with outstanding flight vouchers

Anyone holding an unused Skytrek flight experience voucher, or with an outstanding booking or training enquiry, should contact Skytrek directly through the enquiry form at www.skytrekair.com. Customers should include their voucher or booking reference and relevant purchase details so that Skytrek can advise on their individual circumstances.

Skytrek has confirmed that a small remote team will remain available for a limited period to respond to customer enquiries.

Portal Aviation, which has moved into Skytrek’s former office, is a separate business with no connection to Skytrek. Customers should therefore direct enquiries about Skytrek vouchers and bookings to Skytrek, rather than Portal Aviation or other flying schools at the airport.

Rochester Airport continues to welcome people interested in learning to fly or enjoying a flight experience. Information about the flying schools operating from the airport is available at www.rochesterairport.co.uk.
